The first Market Day was even more successful than we’d hoped for, and we’re getting ready for the second event coming up on June 27. With the Des Moines Arts Festival, the Downtown Farmer’s Market and Artfest Midwest all going on that Saturday, there will be a lot of folks out in an art/vintage/handmade/homemade buying mood.
Shoppers are welcome down at Market Street Media Foundry from 9 AM – 2 PM on Saturday, June 27! That’s 118 SE 4th Street, just south of East 4th and Court and only blocks from the Farmer’s Market. In addition to a slew of creative vendors, we’ll offer up refreshments.
If you are interested in vending for Market Day, I need to hear from you by June 20. Each booth is only $20, and we’re looking for artists, crafters, vintage hockers, bakers…just Makers in general. This is an application-based event: not all vendors will have the type of product that we’re looking for. But applying is free! So if you’re interested, download the vendor info and application.
